The contract, which starts in Dec 2015, sees Capricorn Logistics take sole responsibility managing the entire warehouse operations at their Goa location. The solutions offered to Syngenta includes Warehouse Management that is receipt of Raw Materials (Liquids, Solids, Gas), Storage as per hazard class, Issue to Plant and bringing back Finished Goods from plant, Transport management, Waste management on site, sampling of all Raw materials and adhering to Labelling concept, Material Packing. Management of Extra Hazardous Materials, Acids and Gases like Chlorine, LPG, etc. Monthly MIS Reports, Stock Reconciliation with internal stack holders etc.
To fulfill the contract Capricorn Logistics is providing them with a manpower of 14 people, including 6 forklift operators along with owned forklifts.
This new contract is an important milestone in entering into a long-term relationship with Syngenta India. It also strengthens Capricorn Logistics’ market position in the segment of 3PL-4PL solutions to the agricultural sector which shows significant and sustainable growth potential.
